The influence of demographic, cultural, and educational background in the boardroom on firm performance – The Croatian evidence

چکیده
This study investigates the demographic, cultural and educational features of management boards Croatian manufacturers. The analysis, conducted using static panel encompasses period from 2015 to 2019. To impact different board characteristics on firm performance expressed with accounting- oriented measures such as return assets (ROA) equity (ROE), this includes several explanatory variables comprising CEO tenure, age members, share foreigners in boardroom finance background. Additionally, a few firm-specific included research are size, leverage, age. analysis findings reveal that composition plays crucial role when explaining firm’s profitability. Furthermore, maturity leverage additionally prove be significant factors affecting corporate performance.
